Sales Engineer

DAMM Cellular Systems is looking for a Sales Engineer who will provide both pre-sales & post-sales technical support, proposal estimating and project execution capabilities for DAMM’s North American team.


Your main responsibilities

Through connectivity to the land mobile radio (LMR) communication industry, and in concert with DAMM A/S, you will advance the strategic direction of DAMM N/A by ensuring that all activities meet or exceed expectations for client engagement, technical excellence, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.


Your key tasks will be:

  • Provide technical assistance to our partners and to the sales resources in introducing our products and solutions;
  • Work in close co-operation with internal functions such as R&D, Sales and Customer Support in order to shape the winning solution for bids and tenders;
  • Coordinate the technical information flow relating to specific projects and proposals;
  • Work with administrative & support personnel on planning and logistical related to proposals, projects and engagements;
  • Engage and manage sub-contractors and works with other technology vendors, project management & field support personnel to ensure the successful delivery of requirements, and implementation of projects.

 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have relevant experience from an equivalent position, preferably within the LMR/PMR industry;
  • Have experience working with communication system engineering, highly technical products and solutions;
  • Be literate in IP and two-way radio technologies;
  • Be able to articulate and communicate complex technical issues to non-technical partners;
  • Have the ability to turn customer needs into product solutions;
  • Be customer oriented and dedicated to provide superior support to a group of commercial partners;
  • Be motivated by working with top professionals in an organization that provide a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility;
  • Be able to work remotely, and build effective working relationships internally as well as externally.


The position is based in North America and you will report to the VP, Sales and Business Development.

You can expect travelling 50% of the time, within NA and trips to DK for training.
